Welcome to the HRMA of Western New England!
I would like to personally welcome you to the HRMA of Western New England! It is my privilege to serve as President. I’ve been in the Human Resources field for nearly 20 years and have a varied HR background working for retail, social services, and professional services organizations. I consider myself a lifelong learner, always seeking to build my skillset and stay up to date on developments in the HR world. Joining HRMA of Western New England has been great in providing networking opportunities, offering recertification credits to maintain my HR credential, and professional development to stay current with changes and best practices in various areas of HR.
HRMA of Western New England is fortunate to have a group of experienced and capable HR professionals who volunteer and serve on our Board of Directors and in Committee Chair roles. It takes each of us to fulfill our roles to the best of our ability to ensure our chapter remains sustainable, while continuing to grow.
We welcome all to join the HRMA WNE community. If you are new to the HR field, have been in the HR field for many years, are a community partner or simply have an interest in the profession, please don’t hesitate to contact any one of our Board of Directors or Committee Chairs with questions you have about membership, chapter events, and/or suggestions on how we can assist members with developing in their HR career. We also invite you to use your strengths and talents to volunteer on one of our committees to make this chapter the best it can be as we move forward in the evolving world of Human Resources.

Who We Are
Founded in 1945, the Human Resource Management Association of Western New England, originally known as the Industrial Relations Association, has been a progressive organization whose purpose is to:

EDUCATE: Provide members valuable resources, information and education in the field of human resources. Our pre-approved programs provide the opportunity to earn both SHRM and HRCI credits needed to maintain your professional certifications.

CONNECT: Promote professional relationships among those in the industry and those individuals that support the industry of human resources

SUPPORT: Encourage the exchange of ideas and discussion of issues common to human resources administration

Membership is open to persons responsibly engaged in human resource/personnel work for a member organization of the Human Resource Management Association.
